February 1999 Meeting Minutes - Tuesday 2/6/99 7:30 PM

The meeting was called to order at 7:36 by the President.
There were 14 people in attendance.
The minutes were read and approved with one change. Under Social - Santa was Mr. Moser, not Mr. Dawson.
Financial - $5,252.74 on hand as of 1/31/99. Treasurers' report is the same, accepted as presented. A copy of the financial report distributed.
Membership - 102 members dues paid. 7 new members voted on and accepted.

Special Tax - "Funds Sheet" distributed. The proposal to expand the tax district found legally sufficient and should be back by Friday, 2/5/99. There will be a meeting on 2/9/99 at 7:30 at the O'Callaghan's home regarding getting the petitions out to people.

Zoning - A motion was made for Dennis Nuthall to attend the Monday zoning meeting as our representative. The motion was seconded and passed. Linda Mays will provide an authorization letter.

Clubhouse - No report.

Beach and Parks - No actual report. Information for next meeting will include replacing the pilings and the new nets.

Social - No report.

Roads and Sanitation - The pothole was filled on Hillside Drive.

Police and Fire - No report. A motion made to add an answering machine service on the phone for Dennis and SCA will supply the funding. Motion seconded.

Old Business - Ken Yates, YDF/Boger lawyer, sent the latest Boger proposal. The proposal has time limits imposed by Boger. The proposal was read to the group. A statement was made that even though it is "non-binding" it needs to be reviewed by our lawyer(s) before further comment. Martin O'Callaghan and Don Patti will be working on this proposal. The proposal is a statement of intent for working together to eventually get the clubhouse and property to the SAA. A copy was distributed.
A motion was made to authorize Martin to sign the non-binding letter of intent if the lawyers approved, or suggested language is included. This motion was changed to include "a copy of the non-binding agreement is to be reviewed within 24 hours of creation by Linda Mays and others who are interested." Amended motion seconded and passed.

SAA - They have 4 people now, but want to see more attendees at the meetings. Meetings are held the first Monday of every month.

Meeting adjourned at 9:25.
Minutes recorded by Linda Mays, Recording Secretary.
