Jogging Club

Welcome To The Jogging Club Page!

Jogging Club is pretty easy and if your kids are a bit older, then they might remember Jogging Club from Central Elementary. Joggers are given a mile marker in the shape of a foot to record their laps. Since Selby is small, we're going to use small plastic markers instead of marking the mileage marker at every lap. So, after every lap, joggers will be given a plastic marker. At the end of jogging club, they will record their number of laps on the foot-shaped mileage marker. Once a card is totally filled up, the jogger can pick out a small plastic foot token. Three cards will earned the jogger a 5K token and 26 cards will earn the jogger a 26.2 (marathon) token. Cards will be marked on a chart and each jogger will be given a chain to keep their feet together. Jogging Club is open to kids of all ages.

Hey! It's summer! Collect your feet and at the end of summer you'll receive a Certificate of Participation. The jogger with the highest number of feet will receive a prize!

Jogging Times

Jogging Club will run for approximately an hour. Joggers are asked to RSVP through Facebook or email (SelbyBay@gmail.com). Jogging Club will be cancelled with less than 5 RSVPs. Please only RSVP if your jogger will be jogging.
