Selby-On-The-Bay does not have a "home owner's association" per se. The community, as a whole, is a "special benefits tax district" whereas each property owner is charged $90 per year through state and county taxes. This money is used to maintain beach, park and boat ramp as well as other community expense. Selby does have a community association which, among other things, governs the maintenance and security of the community. The community association does not dictate what color a house is painted, outside structures, boats or RVs on property or other such activities.
