Selby Athletic Association Owns Part of the Community Beach and Park
The Selby (formerly Boger) Trust, which has held title to Selby's Community Beach and Park property since 1970, donated part of the property to the Selby Athletic Association (SAA) in March 2000. As was agreed on in the settlement agreement, most of the rest of the property will be donated to the SAA over the next six (6) years. The property that was and is to be donated by the Selby Trust to SAA includes all of the Community Beach and Park area except the clubhouse, a section of the land on either side of the clubhouse and a section of the land near Selby Yacht Basin. Our Injunction states that the Community Beach and Park includes all of the land lying between Arundel Avenue on the North to Section K-50 (Holiday Pt. Marina) on the South and from First Avenue on the West to Selby Bay on the East. The Injunction allows Selby lot owners access to this land regardless of who holds the title.
