Associate Memberships

What Is It?

An Associate Membership is for those who rent within the Selby boundaries. Associate membership allows renters to enjoy the beach amenities as well as rent the clubhouse and obtain a key fob, parking sticker and/or a boat ramp key. Associate members enjoy the same amenities as property owners, but can not vote in community elections or community business and can not hold a Board position.

Isn't That Double Dipping?

Nope. Property owners pay $140 per year thorugh special tax. That special tax covers them and is not transferable. We do have Selby property owners who do not live in Selby, but own property and come back to use the beach or rent the clubhouse. Those who rent do not pay that special tax, but do live in Selby and would like to use the beach and park area.
Associate membership fee is $140 annually which mirrors property owners' special tax. The membership runs January through December regardless of application date.

How Do I Apply?

Selby-On-The-Bay renters can apply for an Associate Mmevership using the form below. Please print out the form, complete it, and bring it on a key fob/parking sticker night on Thursdays 7:00pm to 8:00pm. All applicants must be approved by the SCA before making payment. Make sure your email is on the application which will be the primary form of contact.
